Farmers Landman is a 501(c)(3) non-profit education advocate and land use resource for farmers. When farmers encounter energy development propositions, eminent domain requests or other economic interests in their land, Farmers Landman works with educating farmers and provides resources on all pertinent issues, empowering them to make the most informed decisions.
We educate and inform landowners on the ins-and-outs of oil and gas propositions, renewable industry opportunities, eminent domain, and other land use opportunities, including CRP and other land uses. We help landowners understand topics and processes, empowering them to best navigate conversations and make informed decisions for their land use.
Our goal is to inform and educate all farmers who have an interest in land use projects. Oftentimes these projects, their lingo, and processes fall outside the common knowledge and expertise many farmers have. We explain and teach in a way that helps farmers understand land use concerns related to these uses and help to alleviate concerns that may arise with making significant decisions that impact their land.
Have a question or comment? Contact us today and we'll do our best to answer any questions you may have, or we can point you to the right educational resources that will help you make informed decisions about your land and its usage. Talking with farmers is what we enjoy most, and hearing from the farming community for ways that we can help them with land matters helps us improve our approach and resources to better serve you.
